Engage Week

Engage24 is a 24 hour period dedicated to college students to encourage them to engage their campuses with the Gospel. While this Engage24 is primarily focused on sharing the Gospel for an entire day, it is our mission that students desire a 24/7 lifestyle of sharing the Gospel everywhere they go. That’s why the BSU has decided to turn Engage24 into an Engage week filled with different opportunities for students to serve and share their faith. Monday, October 24th, immediately following Vision, we will have 3 different options for students to serve. The first two involve our international students. The international guys will be taught how to play american football, while the girls will partake in a tea party. Our third opportunity that night will involve students going into the dorms to serve the residents.  On Wednesday and Thursday students may participate in our apartment ministry.  Students will meet at the BSU office at 3:30pm and carpool over the apartments. There, they will share a Bible story, play games and provide snacks for the kids. Finally, on Friday the 17th, students are welcomed to help make and hand out cookies, coffee, and hot chocolate to the clubs and tribes on campus that will be building their floats for the Homecoming Parade the next day. To be involved in this, meet at the fellowship hall of FBC Clinton at 5:00pm for free dinner. After that, students will bake 1,000 cookies, prepare coffee, and hot chocolate to hand out to those building the floats. If you are interested in taking part in any of these events or if you want more information, call the BSU office at 601.925.3238.
