PEOPLE WAITING TO SEE DR. RAMIRO MARRERO
In May, Dr. Marrero and some of the young people from
the church in Atlacomulco conducted a two-day medical
clinic in San Sebastián. This town had formerly been very closed
to the Gospel. IMB missionary, Rich Fleming, had been asked not to return.
However, God had other plans. Ramiro was permitted to bring in his mobile clinic,
and was able to see over 100 patients! Team members prayed
with each person. At the end of the second day, town leaders
invited the missionary to return, and several neighboring
villages have also opened the door for future medical/evangelistic
ministries.
NEW HOUSE CHURCH IN SAN SEBASTIÁN
This couple, Antonio and Antonia, have started a house church in San Sebastián.
They were very encouraged by Dr. Marrero’s medical clinic. With the help
of Pastor Cosme Arana, his wife Eva, and another church member from the
Hispanic church here in Clinton, seventeen adults accepted Christ during the
two days of ministry. God is at work in what the IMB calls “the heart of darkness!”
FBCC MISSION MEXICO 2015 PLANS
Plans are being made to return with the Marreros to San Sebastián in March, 2015.
